I am not affraid to get out in front of someone and accelerate out of trouble with it. Course the 2.4L in the Altima is nice but that car is heavier than the Sentra too. There is a SE version of the Sentra that has a 2.0L in it. All very well made engines. And the trannies are solid as well.

here is my kids 2001 Sentra that he has now. This one replaced the 96 Altima he totaled last winter.
You have to understand how progessive Nissan has been in the past three to five years, though. ...sure the car you have is newer and may be able to get out of its own way, but in past years the car was just an econo box with basically no options, it was the revival of cars like the civic. ...the 00 Maxima saved Nissan and ever since about 99 they've been changing their image completely and the way they build cars.

Its a nice looking car that you have there.

Thats about what my del sol is... the sentra should probably be about that. Our cars have all the added weight for reinforcement in the chassis so we don't have so much body sway. ...a civic HB is about 2200 though, so the sentra being a 4 banger sedan is probably about 2500.

Oh I have certainly noticed. The Sentra of the 2000's is on par with that you used to have to go to a Altima to get in the mid 90's. Its a classier more complete thing now than it was in 97.

And yea there is a lot of extra weight in them if those are Convertibles for certain.

Its not my car. Its my kids car.

The factory rims for a Sentra SER are very nice IMO. MY friend has one and it looks nice but the back end doesnt appeal to me to much.
