Cats: Most dont no what the hell your doin and just stand there when u try to call them (I know this from experience with many cats).
-They have NO personality watsoever (they only want to be petted wen they have an itch and will claw you wen they dont have an itch and you try to pet them).
-When they decide to bite you it hurts like hell and its a hole lot worse than a dogs cause there teeth are sharper and more needlelike.
Im not gonna say why dogs are better but its basically because there the opposite of the bad things about cats. Im also not gonna say anything about smarts except that i know from experience at dog shows and such that a cat is not smarter than a poodle or a german shepard.
P.S.- Who says chihuahua's are yappy? I have one for 5 years and they are one of the sweetest cuddly dogs on the planet! Not very smart though. Always gettin out of our yard no matter what attemts we made to keep it in. Poor sweet little dog walked his dumba** right into oncoming traffic.
