did i saw it was released? they list the price of games before they come out, for preorder's. it's scheduled to come out in late september, and i see no reason for a delay, seeing as how they have been working on it for 3-4 years.

All I have to say is wow

The movies they have of it are incredible like the textures, the objects, everything is just...wow.

Now just have to wait for the mods to come out like CounterStrike 2, DPB 2(just think of that!), DOD 2.

We can all dream.

Man, i remember when HL first came out, it was loaded with bugs and lots of random strange messed up things that would mystify me.

I don't really like sierra games too much, but Half life is... well its just good.

HL2 looks sweet. hope the engine is good, so i can run the graphics on my computer (it isn't slow, but new games are pretty intense)

...but apparently HL2's engine is designed to use very little processor/graphics card power considering the graphics it produces...should be interesting to see how it'll run on common systems.

50 bucks isn't expensive for a game, but for people who've never payed for a new game, yeah I can see how that would hurt.

Normaly I find new games between 39.99 and 45.99 US.

lol yeah i had it since the day it was out(still play it too) i remember the original versions where scientists would randomly not respond to anything you did etc. for some reason i doubt many owners of the half life engine accualy played half life or will play half life 2 when it comes out sadly

o and sierra does suck but not as much as interplay(they didnt release fallout 3 or stonekeep 2, anyone else every play the original?)

Really? There were only a couple parts I found difficult...that took a few attempts. Though most people I know have never finished it because it was too hard, so maybe I'm just weird.
