For PW's everywhere and people with too much time on their hands

Yes I was bored and at least I am keeping this in Friendly Corner Well onto the post, I was searching around and found that Falcon guy has a long way to go to reach page 1 of the top 10 posters, didn't see where Squid was though but the scary thing I did find was the huge amount of "dead" users.... 1,977 Ok I am registered on one particular forum that I have never posted on and that was only to ensure I got the user name I wanted, but even looking at all the "dead" users names I don't think that could be applied in a lot of the cases. Yes I do know I must have too much time on my hands but I have to do something from time to time . Surely this must clog up the forum system if the people don't post?

hmm, according to the top of the forum it says there are 13240 users, but in the members list there is 391 pages with 30 per page and 23 on the last page, which comes out to only 11723 members. if i did it right, about 5009 members havent posted in the last year (42.7%), 6621 in the last 6 months (56.4%), 7837 in the last 3 months (66.8%), and 9296 havent posted in the last month (79.3%). so if there is only 11723 members then only about 2427 still post. anyone know why the member list says theres a different amount of users then the main page? maybe from banned users and people who registed but never responded to the confirmation email?

well i was wondering about how you said there was only 1900 dead users, which seems a little low for 10000+, cause if 8000 people were activly posting the forum would be a lot different, and it only took about 5 min

well the "dead" ones I was talking about are the ones that are registered and haven't posted...start crunching the rest of the numbers to include 1 post as well and then that number will rise.
