We have a 95 Impala SS (LT1 engine)

and I drive a 79 El Camino with a built up 305...right now ive got around 240 HP with plans for header, a new trans, and a positrac rear end and new gear ratio.

i need to get a new or rebuild my carborator in my rivera it has been setting to long.

right now with the stock 425 wildcat engine it is pushing 340 horse power.

hey guys i am going to get a new carborator which one do you think is the best? my friends says the hollys are one of the best. how good are the eldorbrake (sp?) ones. and this is for my 64 buick riviera. i will try to get some pics of it some time this week.

If you have the $$$, get a Holley or a Carter. IMO they are the best for the money.

I have owned a few "Muscle" cars over the past few years. First was a 79 Lemans Convertable with a 400 under the hood. Then came the 87 vette and a few years after that came my first truly fast car..... 00 Trans Am...

346cu in ... almost entirely stock and turning a hair under 320hp at the wheels. I loved this car ALOT and I still miss it to this day.

Next in the line up was this 01 Vette... again alot of fun.. but I only had it a few mos so never got to truly enjoy it.


Then after my devorce and my exwife taking all the toys away this was my next car. 01 Firebird Formula...

This car was FAST.... first few passes down the track resulted in passes ranging from 14.0 to 13.9 ... uummmm ... then I changed out the fuel filter and the next pass was a 13.2 @107 :) After a bit of tuning and the adition of a TNT F2 Nitrous Kit, GTP Stage 2 Heads, jet Longtube headers and a few other minor goodies the final few passes were in the low 11 second range. 11.32 being the best I beleve. The addition of a 12 bolt and et streets could have proboly put this car into 10 second territory.

Currently there are two cars in my "stable" both of which belong to my girlfreind 1st is yet another WS6 Trans Am ...

This car is ok.. but the automatic tranny takes alot of the fun out of driving it. The other thing I dont care for is the plate which reads "FLIRTN". Yeah I don't look gay driving that one :)

And the other car..... this is satan in the form of an automobile.... it ether loves you or hates you... unfortunatly right now it hates me.

Stock out of the box this car turned 336rwhp and 347rwtq and went 13.1 in the quarter on street tires. Unfortunatnly it was stolen (I had a lease aggreement with the guy) and driven to Phily. After recovering it (Word to the wise... dont steal from me ) I now have several issues with the car. So far I have pulled 15 bent pushrods and 1 damaged rocker, replaced the PCV with the LS6 equivolent and replaced the rear break rotors. I'm still having minor issues with it... but it should be in tip top shape come next weekend... so I can sell it.
