Interesting. Wonder how carefully you have to load the spring loaded pods? Wonder how you screw the pod in horizontally without dumping half your pod on the ground?

    Wonder how much....

Oh yeah, I always like to see how things work. Just not my cup of tea. I dislike pre loaded tubes/magazines. It will probably shift the center of balance way forward, and I dont like the looks of it.

I'd still shoot it for a day just to check it out. But its never going to be on my got to buy list.

Why would you have to screw it in horizontally? Just point the gun down.

Yeah. It's gotta be pretty cheap though. I mean if you can't refill it like a normal hopper, you're stuck buying a bunch of spring loaded pods.

So if it's spring loaded do you think there's a gated feed the end of the hose where the pod screws in? Otherwise you'd lose all the shots in the hose. And if there is that would mean there would probably be a special way to fill the spring pods to ensure proper placement of the paintballs. If you have to hand load each ball that would definately require buying 2 or 3 games worth of the pods to eliminate downtime between games. Hmmmmmm.

Anyone know anything more about this?

EDIT: Xmetal - good point. I was trying to visualize reloading with the marker up.

I know it was at IAO and a few of the guys got to try it. Unfortunately I was'nt one of them. It seems like it would be harder to play a bunker tight with all the mass under the barrel in front. Not to mention the weight making the gun front heavy.

I had a hard time scrolling past the girls...

Looks like it would be kind of awkward. I don't much like the idea of buying pre-loaded tubes every time, either.

I don't see it giving the warp a run for its money.

i don't think you would have to buy a pre-loaded tube each time, i'm sure they are refillable. and seeing as how its spring loaded i don't think it feeds very fast.

I wouldn't think the feed rate would be that great either (if there are no batteries).

hmm, thats a good point about the tube.

maybe you can rotate the... giant pod thing... and it'll load the next tube in there. You still have a few balls in the tube when its completely empty though. Same deal with a warp feed so i guess its not too much different.

I agree with the feed rate. If its spring powered, the spring can't be too stiff for obvious reasons

It will be horrible for accuracy. The spring will dimple your balls (always sounds weird)
