I saw this thread a couple of days ago and thought this was a horrible acctcedent. Just the other day I found out that I had gone to high school and played several sports with him. I acctually knew him, although I never played any paintball with him. Hopefully I will be able to find out more information.

Hey, nice to see you MJ. Last I knew, he was presented with three options:

        1. Agressive surgery, 1-2% success rate

        2. Waiting to see what his body will do on it's own. (good eye could go blind)

        3. Remove the eye alltogether.

I believe he is going with option 1, which is cool. You gotta fight. Plus, I still think a miracle will happen! I continue to pray.

In the meantime, I am told that he is also keeping his good eye closed as much as possible. I guess it is not uncommon for people who lose one eye to actually lose vision in BOTH! The one good eye "sympathizes" with the damaged one and boom, lights out.

I didn't realize that could happen. The body works in strange ways sometimes.

I'll keep him in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

Tiger Man I dont know if u are talking about John at Ga Paintball, but if u are I am not shure abou the story but he lost his eye and the one in now is glass. Didnt seem to affect his paintball ability very much cause he still rocks whhenever he still gets on the field.
And I hope your cousin gets better and his eye is ok.
