Kind of off the subject but do you think the Tigers will break the most losses in a season record?
    I hope so.

    To discuss the braves,
In my opinion the Braves choke in the big games.

Tom Glavin choked in the big games. The braves should have won it all easily last year with the Yankee's gone. Just messed up towards the end.

The reason i say this is the year is because there really isnt any point of weakness on the club. Jones, Jones and sheffield in the outfield. Castilla (defensive mostly), furcal (fast), giles, and fick. and then Javy lopez behind the plate. Plus if they can get the game in to the 8th or 9th inning its all but over because no one has an answer for John smoltz.

Vash I agree with you that there is no really bad player on the Braves,The Braves just have bad luck. I think they were a little better a couple years ago. They were better with the pitching they had. They have a good chance at the Series, but I see the Yankees winning it this year.

Yea he was traded for a reliever whos 3-0 with a 2.15 ERA, David Delucci( a backup) and a minor leaguer. They wont get Vlad this year but theyll sign him or Gary Sheffield at the end of the year.......along with Kaz Matsui.

giants will win it all this year
The Giants are good because their good in every aspect: good pitching, good hitting, good fielding. However, with the addition of a new reliever to setup Riveria, they Yankess have a strong bullpen. Their offense is 6th in the MLB, and their pitching is 10th. The Giants' offense is 12th and Im not sure about their pitching but overall the Yankees are better.

The Giants will make the WS, but will lose to the Yankess. The Yanks have dominant starters that will win long series'.
Plus if they can get the game in to the 8th or 9th inning its all but over because no one has an answer for John smoltz.
Smoltz is good but hes still very hittable. Id take Mariano Riveria over Gangne, Smoltz, and Wagner anyday. Out of those three hes the only one with big game experince.
