Very sad to hear. I just woke up and was half asleep when I heard on the TV "Bob Hope has died". I immediately woke up and was sadden by the news. He is by far one of the greatest entertainers. Like what he is known for singing "Thanks for the memories...". Rest well.

That's a damn shame. Bob Hope was the man.

Millions of GI's will mourn his passing.

No other person has given so much, to so many, for so long, than Mr. Hope.

I saw him twice in 1973, during a taping for one of his many TV specials in Burbank CA., than once again at the 1973 Boy Scout National Jamboree in Idaho. He was the main star of the show, and even as kids, we enjoyed him immensely.

                  Thanks Bob.

Wow, if anyone, bob hope has lived his life to the fullest. I can't imagine what it was like to live through 2 world wars, vietnam, korea, the cold war and 2 gulf wars. Doesn't that just blow your mind?
