what is the point in living?

I am not suicidal but was wondering the point in living. I mean for most people it is
    wake up
    take shower
    eat
    go to school/work
    come home
    eat
    watch tv
    go to bed

I think that you should live life to the fullest. When im at the gates of Heaven(sp?)I wanna look back on my life and not regret a second of it. I dont want to look back and say wow I wish I would have done that.

Of course it's what you make of it. If all you want to do is wake up, eat, go to work/school, squeeze one off, go to bed. Then that's what you do.

The trick is not backing yourself into a position where that is your only choice.

Of course as your grow older you are presented with more choices, but once you pass a certain age, it seems the choices are few and far between.

The hell with what the world wants, who cares what some cable-fed twit has to say about how you want to live your life.

The challange of living life and making it to Heaven.

Its obviously not about who has the biggest SUV. WHo gives a rats butt.

As difficult as life is, we have conviences that we worked together to build.

      Effiecient and clean housing.
      Horseless carriages
      Stoves, refrigerators and washing machines.
The minimum wage hell that is the grocery store. With all your food neatly boxed and canned.

Imagine if we all chiped in together liek Star Trek how much better things would be.
All your farm animals are belong to us.

I get up, I lift weights, I go to work, I go home, get stimulated and fall asleep.

Don't like life much myself, but meh, whatever. Only thing I really love is music. Only thing that keeps me alive...

Too broke for paintball myself, hell, I don't even know why I still come on here...

I'm with Miscue on this one. I guess it's the pursuit of happiness...which in my case means paintball.

Ahhhh good theological debate, whats the point in living. Well the answer to that lies differently within each person. Why do i keep on living? I do because one day i hope to have a family of which i can raise and watch grow, have a awesome wife to which i can shag everynight and to do all the fun things my parents have done with me except with me being the parent. What else is there to live for? Well of course paintball, but there is so much more. Why not save alittle money here and there and take a trip every year? You can do it by yourself or with friends. I go rafting and sking every year usually by myself to get my mind off stuff and "start over." Not that hard. If that is your schedule of life why not change it up alittle? Wake up, go to school, eat, RUN, WORKOUT, go play pool or something then go to bed. Alot of stuff out there in the world to do rather than sulk about and do NOTHING. Life is what you make of it not what people tell you to do with it.
              personal rant....

Some say "he who dies with the most toys wins..." But I say "he who dies with the most toys still dies." I hope that someday I marry a nice girl and have kids and stuff like that. Just remember, you dont know if your gonna wake up tomorrow so dont piss your life away.

Just think of all the unfortunate kids in this world who go to bed hungry...or havent had a good hot shower...ever! Please look at what you REALLY have(although it MAY not seem like alot)compared to others. We have it real good...compared to some. Look at the bright side...it could be ALOT worse. If you are feeling down and worthless, just help someone today...anyone...they will renew your faith in this great place. Let me know if you need more convincing, as I have 10000 reasons to stick around here.

Living seems like its 80% waiting and 20% doing. I know I'm always waiting, waiting for that new gun, waiting for work to end, waiting to get paid, waiting to play paintball, waiting to hang out with friends ect.

You just have to find things worth waiting for, and do them as much as you possibility can. As long as it makes you happy and doesn't hurt you or anyone. That's what lifes about, enjoying yourself.
