APG vs. PB2X

Ok i was really bored and decided to count how many adds were in each magizine. I am always anoyed of how many pages of BUY OUR MARKER NOW!!!!!! stuff or advertisements for internet sites, so i counted all them up. Here are the results

APG(august issue)
138 pages of adds, 258 pages total. 53% adds

PB2X(June issue)
74 pages of adds, 162 pages total 46% adds

I just thought it was interesting. Didnt realize that half of my money mainly pays adds.

Well the funny thing is I know alot of people who buy the magazines because they want to look at the adds.

well adds are good cause you get to see new products etc that you may want to buy in the future but seriously half of the magazine =adds thats pathetic but thats how it is in most magazines thats how they make all there money durr i wish they had more stories and interveiws instead of all the damned adverts maybe like 20-30% adds would be a little better but come on you think they'll do that? hells no they want there money

half of your money does NOT pay for ads. If they didnt have ads, they would charge you $50 per issue. Your $3 doenst mean squat to them. Ads are where the real money is. Ads pay for the magazine

PB2x is a way better magainze then APG. APG seems like there articles are subscriber submitted articles. Like how to "Become the perfect paintball sniper" and stupid crap like that. There articles are pure BS< same with the marker reviews.

PB2X is all about the good ish. They have some rec coverage, and alot of tournament coverage.

After reading APG i can honestly say it has to be one of the worst magazines content wise I have ever read. Since then I have read Facefull. Now that is a good paintball magazine. But that is my small insignificant opinion.

I know. I am just saying that out of a 2dollar magazine, i only got about half articles, which is pretty sad. I know they have to have adds, just its kinda funny that over half the magizine is adds and the other half is pointless crap(APG)

PB2X definitely gets my vote too. APG's tourney coverage is absoultely pathetic!

Borders has them sometimes but they go real quick.

im surprised barns and nobles doesnt have them, unless they were outa them when i went there, ill have to ask next time

Barnes & Nobles seems to carry P8nt Magazine which is just as good as facefull but more of a lifestyle mag.

I just did it on a PGI magazing I got 41 pages of Ads out of 141 pages total so that makes 29% or so of the magazine is Ads.... I personally think PGI is one of most quality magazines I have ever read... (I have had 3 straight years of free subscriptions though )

Facefull is nice if you like to just look at pictures though.

This is what APG says in the contents,
