what do u guys think of pbgear and 888?

me and my dad were thinkin about starting up a paintball supply store. i know that the last couple times i have ordered from either company i have had a LEAST one item get screwed up. im sick of it and i was wondering if anyone else is sick of it to or if it even happens to anyone else. any tips on the stuff would be useful too thanks.

I HATE 888 paintball, i cant stand them, they screwed up on my first gun, i ordered a pro carbine and they sent me a carbine, ive ordered stuff from them atleast 5 times and everytime its gotten screwed up somehow. dont order from 888 paintball.

considering pbgear just ripped me off. i ordered a spyder electra for my cousing b-day and i get a piranha e-force core df. a $50 price difference but angry e-mails fix everything

PBgear screwed me over once, I sent them complaint e mails and they said look at the "in stock" or "out of stock" button. Well, if they ever kept the website updated, it might work. Never expierienced 888. I use my local store, better deals.

I ordered my green xmag from 888. Was surprised that it arrived one day early. That was the only time I ordered from them. Most of my purchases are from a local pb store.

Hate 888 love pbgear. 888 screwed up my order so bad and pbgear has never once screwed up my order.

The bad thing about 666 i mean 888 is that they dont accept a billing address that is different from a shipping address "for security reasons". Anyhow that just sucks for me, fortunatly i was able to call and sucker the support people into sending it to where I wanted it.

PBgear? never had a problem. Fast delivery, no broken balls, um.. good prices.

well im glad at least most ppl have good experiences with pbgear, cuz i havent. i have made a half dozen orders in the last 3 or 4 months and as i said before they havent sent me one order with everything right. and 888 is the exact same way. so thanks for ur imput guys, but i am really hoping to maybe get a store started... then i get ule body for wholesale.. but w/e i mean i just want to get a good paintball store with fast shipping, the ability to get a friggin paintball order right, and great customer service. and by the looks of it most of u guys support ur local pb store so thats good news too, well thanks everyone for ur input. ill let u know what happens.

i ordered from 888 once and it was my rebel bottomline electro. i opened up the box and messed with it in the house for a while( you know the new marker when its snowing outside thing) it never went outside it stayed in the box for a while. i showed rp and he showed me where part of the aluminum plating had creased and was coming off. i called to send it back to them and they were rude and told me they would call me back within a week, didn't happen. so i called back and asked if i could exchange it and they said yes with 10% restocking fee. so i just kept what i had.

I had the same exact problem with PBgear.After I moved they made me jump through the rings to actually get an order.
I had already had two delivered orders to my new address before they noticed the "problem".
Then they weren't calling the right people to find out the correct info.
In the end , just on the volume of buisiness that a friend and I had through them, we threatened to stop placing orders with them and the problem was suddenly solved.

As for liking one over the other? PBG has better prices than 888 most of the time.888 has never messed up an order of mine, but PBG has.
