Darn UPS

I had to packages ship out from Firstcall on Wednesday (verified by phone that they shipped out noon-time that day) which were supposed to arrive via UPS Ground today, according to the time estimation page on their website.

Welp, I waited the whole day and neither of the two packages showed up today like they "guaranteed" on their website, so now I don't have paint to provide the 10 year olds I was supposed to take 'balling tomorrow.

Funny thing is that when I called up Firstcall yesterday, they said it would be here "on Friday (today), but if not, it wwill be on Saturday." Now the thing is that UPS doesn't do Saturday delivery normally. =\

Oh well, they're just 10-year olds anyway.

Their store is in VA, so it will probably take 4 or 5 days. did firstcall say it was supposed to arrive on friday, or was it ups? if you used firstcall's tracking it was probably innaccurate, ups's tracking is usually more reliable.

you can get delivery on saturdays. but it costs a heck of a lot more.

hehe, guess it, and the firstcall employee, were wrong.
