Well I got in a wreck tonight and it really blows... Some Anus-wad decided to run a stop sign and T-bone my pickup...
I was driving along and saw him coming out of the corner of my eye and slammed on my brakes but it was too late and he hit me square in the side. The damage is on the drivers side from the front fender to the back fender. Also it broke my rear leaf spring and bent my rear axle, may have bent my frame too, I dunno.
I'm just glad I was driving my lifted F-150 rather than a car... all the damage was done at about frame height rather than right in the door... that would have prolly hurt me pretty bad if I was in a car. Thank god I'm a redneck and have to drive a lifted pickup! LOL Too bad it wasn't another 6 inches taller... his car would have gone under my body and hit the frame and then my rear tire would have run right over his hood! :P
After the wreck happened I just shut my pickup off where it set like you're supposed to do and the guy started taking off so I bailed out, hollered, "GET YOUR A** BACK HERE!" and was ready to chase him down, but he pulled over.
Kinda crazy, but after the wreck I drove my pickup about 6 blocks down the street to my g/f's house so I could park it. The old beast still limped it's way home, but sounded horrible cause the driveline was rubbing on the gas tank skidplate... nasty sound of screeching metal (shudders).
But yeah it sucks... now I've either gotta get her fixed or get another pickup... Actually I hope I get another pickup and get to keep this one too! It would make a good project pickup

Also I'm considering a flatbed for any future people who decide to run a stop sign... If they hit that they're hittin solid steel! LOL
