      to date, after working in Germany for a summer, and traveling extensively there, I've never, ever, heard a German use either the word "Jolly" or "plastered"...

      especially German Police, who are generally the most uptight Germans in Germany, and as a whole, Germans are pretty anal... I know, i am one!

      i think the author took some liberties...

          But, the Germans have a dark dark history with tubed artillary....
          Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die.               I have been living in Germany for about 4 years now. At Ramstein Airbase, Germany. And ya some Germans are just weird, but there are a lot of cool ones also. You would never hear a german say "Jolly". Thats like the British or something.

                              It's a police spokesman and he could be British for all we know. Could have moved to Germany.

                              Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.
