    Offroadin fun

Well yesterday my friend, his dad and I did a little 4 wheeling. There were tons of trails and mud pits. It was a lot of fun especially when my friends dad in the hummer thought he could go everywhere and then got stuck in the big mud pic. Here are some pics. Enjoy!

Heck, EVERYONE knows to drop the tires onto the run-flats, and put the tranny in low for a HUMMWV in deep slop

throw some air lockers, or hydraulic, on that hummvee, put er in low, drop the air pressure in the tires down by about 10 psi, or more depending, and watch that sucker out climb a mountain goat. or go through anything as long as you keep the water above the intake and keep er running at a decent rpm to keep the water out of the exhaust, provided you don't just get a snorkel.

If yah really want to see a Humer (or just about any other vehicle) do some insane climbing, slap a set of these puppys on her!

Ok it was funny to see the Hummer stuck but had you tried the same pit then you would have been a submarine, at the very least very wet as the clearance on your vehicle is a lot less than the Hummer. A recent car review programme on my countrys TV networks showed a Range Rover the new Jeep and a couple of Japanese models....the presenters managed to get the Range Rover stuck and the dragging out trashed the front end...brand new car loaned for the show but they said that even though the Range Rover was better up very steep inclines than all the others tested. If they had all done the mud pit test and as all the others had terrible ground clearance (compared to the RR) so they knew they would get stuck. But anyhow your day looked like a fun day out.

seen it, my second cousin was offroading in his brand spanking new H2 and got stuck in a big mud pit and had to get a farmer to tow him out.
