    Meteor Showers

All throughout North America and Asia, you will be able to see the biggest meteor storm of the century. There won't be anything like it until 2099.

Starts at 12am and climaxes at 2am (Pacific Time)

Yeah, you're kinda right footemps. You should start watching at 1pm, but it's basically gone at 3pm.

Just got back, pretty good showing. I would have stayed out there longer, but laying in the grass when it's 20 degrees outside isn't too fun. At least I was able to come back and take a really hot shower.

It was a really good showing. Clear skies, not a lot of lights this late either so I could see it clearly from the patio of the house. I wasout from 1:10 to 1:35 and 1:57 to 2:14... I had to stand up because it was brick and tar. I saw one heck of a bunch of them, at least 10...

There was supposed to be 100 a minute for a while, but I couldn't see very many, probably because of street lights.

I drove an hour down to the beach to get away from the city lights, and it was a really cool show. I set up two cameras on tripods and did some time lapse photography, so we'll see if I got any cool pictures in a while. It was my first time attempting time lapse, so we'll see how I did. I promise nothing.

Good thing I didn't have squat to do today.. I got home at 7 AM

                        I saw it all!

I went outside to watch at around 12, and then decided that I didn't want to miss anything cool...so I slept outside.

                        I saw some great stuff...

I went up into the hills to see the shower. Not what I expected. Quite dissappointing actually. I saw some really cool meteors, but not the 4000 per hour like they said would happen.
