I thought about watercooling for the sound benefits, but ended up going for quiet fans. I don't do that much cpu intensive work or overclocking, so heat isn't really a problem, and if something were to go wrong with the water cooling and I ruined my system it would be a long time before I could afford another semi-decent one. About the audigy 2, i found it cheap and the real reason i wanted it was for the remote. I haven't had problems with mp3's though.

When I installed it I downloaded the latest drivers, and I don't think it would matter but not having the livedrive hooked up may have something to do with your problem, I doubt it though.Comment
