Polybius

Okay, Polybius is a game that game out in the early 80's. Supposedly it caused amnesia and terrible nightmares. Here's the info I found on it so far:
Polybius arcade game, released in 1981. Information on this arcade game and more.

Apparently, Polybius was a Roman officer, who was really into cryptography. Well, being the dork I am, I found some results for Polybius on a cryptography website:
-Children
-Problems
-Physical
-Question
-Behavior
-Products
-Yourself
-Personal
-Pictures
-Distance

Dun dun dunnnnnnn
Anyone have any more info on the game?

It's a hoax.

Also, Polybius was a Greek historian.

That it's a hoax? I don't really have any proof, other than what I've read on other forums, pbnation for one.

I wouldn't mind a little bit more prrof than "Yep, doesn't exist"

Also, something that is either a coincidence or INCREDIBLY *POOF* SCARY

Here's the thread on PBR
look at the date that thread was started. Now look at the bottom of the SNopes page, where it says Last Edited.
Not to be a freaky psycho conspiracy theorist, but that IS really weird

Generally I don't talk about something unless I know about it, for futur reference of course.
