Ok. So my mom's on the computer and she sees the kazaa icon in one of my folders. I have already uninstalled kazaa and everything due to the riaa stuff. She thinks that Ijust lied to her about deleting it so I could keep downloading songs. Which is not true, even though I would like to keep downloading. So I try to uninstall it by going to the control panel and then to add/remove programs, and I look for kazaa to uninstall it. It's not there. It also won't let me move the kazaa file because it's being used, even though I've closed everything that I can think of. She says that I'm just trying to get a way to keep it so I can download still, so she said if it's not gone by tonight I can't get my drums that I've been waiting forever for. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? I hate computers....

It won't let me move it because it's "Being used by other people or files", even though I've closed everything that might cause the problem.Comment

add/remove programs try that first, make sure kazaa is not running by control alt delete, and see if it is at the taskbar at tthe bottom right corner if it is close it there, once again try to delete all of the kazza stuff or atlest jsut delete the shortcuts, do a search for kazaa and delete all of the folders. also there is a command which brings up your programs that run as soon as your comp turns on not sure waht it is thoughLove Will Tear Us ApartComment

i had the same problem, go into "my computer" then local disk, then program files, then kazaa should be in there and u can delete it from there for good.

ok, I deleted it off of Program Files like you said, and now I can at least move it, but it's still opperational. When I try to put it in the recycle bin, it says this:
"Cannot delete kazaa:Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not fullor write-protectedand and that the file is not currently in use"
It's not in add/remove programs, so that won't work. It's almost like they dont want me to delete it.Comment
