get a left hand as soon as u get a right hand, that will make u a great player right off the bat...i didnt really get a left hand till like halfway through my second season and it helps sooo much to be able to switch hands, just do it by throwing and cradling the same way as ur right hand. do u know how to cradle and throw and stuff?

I play old man club lacrosse in the summers. Used to play in College. Back in those days there was no such thing as high school lacrosse in the pacific NW. Now it seems every high school in the area has a team (great to see it growning). As for equipment I have a bunch of Brine stuff. Not going to go look at it.

As for advice you only need to do three things before you go to your first practice. 1) Buy a stick and a ball, 2) Go to a wall and practice throwing against it and catching 200+ catches a day with EACH hand, 3) Run, run, and run. If you are in good shape you will be midfield and every team likes getting a new in shape midfielder that can catch and clear the ball!!!

carnifex, the way i learned to cradle was like ur eating a chip with ur top hand, dont bring in too close to ur face just yet, and have a loose grip with both hands, slightly tighter with bottom hand, u use the top hand to bring it up and down in a swingin motion kinda and keep ur bottom hand relatively still (i cant explain this that well in words i would need to show u or something lol, does anyone want to post a vid of themselves cradling or someone else cradling or something?

How should I have my hands positioned when I'm shooting / passing?
