keep ur bottom hand at the bottom of the shaft, and drop ur top hand down to about a quarter of the way up, but so u can still have control and balance with the stick. for passing, its like throwing a baseball kinda, u push with ur top hand and pull with ur bottom hand, dont drop the stick down to far behind your back or the ball will fall out. Shooting is all about the technique, you dont need to be very strong, just have good technique. You drop your top hand down a little to get a little more pull on the top of the stick, keep the stick out far from ur body, turn the other way a little, and then sorta turn ur whole body along with the stick and follow through with the shot.Get an overhand shot b4 anything. Idk if i can explain it very well without demonstrating it, so plz dont develop any bad habits, thats one of the worst things u can do in lacrosse.
Any lacrosse players?

All right, thanks a lot for the tips."What we have to accomplish at this time is all the more clear: relentless criticism of all existing conditions, relentless in the sense that the criticism is not afraid of its findings and just as little afraid of the conflict with the powers that be."

Been playing for about 8 years now, getting recruited to play in college (Navy, Yale, West Point, Princeton)
Too much equipment to list, so I'll put it this way: I end up with about 3 new sticks plus a few more shafts each year, and I don't throw anything away. You do the math. As for pads, i like deBeer best for comfort, and I wear my team's helmet (Gait) which fit really nice.Fear The 'FroComment

I have played highschool football for the past four years. This being my final season, I dont think I will be playing in college. I am just not big enough to play on the offensive line at the college level, 5'11 215lbs. I was thinking of picking up lacrosse. I have never even held a lacrosse stick and the closest thing I have seen of a game is on American Pie, Lacrosse isnt't that big of a highschool sport in Ohio. So, how long would it take me to pick up the game to be good enough to play as a club sport? I was thinking of then trying out for a small college team. Any help/advice would be appreciated. It came to a point in my life when it was either pay the rent or buy paintball gear. I think I made the wise choice. If anyoneone needs me I'm livin in a van down by the river.

You dound exactly like me two years ago lol. Yeah i just decided to go out and play. Find a club and just go. Youd be surprised how many people there are JUST like you. I had never held a stick before in my life and went to practice. You pick up throwing and catching in no time. Cradeling is what you have to work on. Like was said earlier...find a brick wall and throw throw throw...then throw some more...then throw off handed, and ...you geussed it...throw some more. Then you know what you can do? Throw it some more, except catch offhanded...you get the drill. Just don't do like I did, and break a school window. (Youd be surprised that you can throw fast enough to shatter a half inch sheet of plexiglass or whatever it is they use on school windows lol)

well i just scored today. i went over to our sporting goods store to get a 6' long box to send my shaft back to brine in (bent....warranty) and i saw an X2 on an AL6000 shaft. i asked how much the X2 would be and the guy told me $50.....for the whole thing! it was the last one in the store and they needed to sell it to get a new shipment. for those who dont know what this means, the X2 is an $80 head and the Al6000 is a pos $30 shaft, but damn what a deal. i will just use the shaft to mess around with and throw my old head onto cause it is an attack/midfield, and the i will throw my X2 onto my soon to be new brine f15 shaft..........i winArggggh
