    Light The Night

I recently came across a new charity event that I am committing myself to on September 27th. Those of you from AO chat know how passionate I can be with my volunteer work. Light the night (LTN) is an organization based solely on donations that has raised (on thier own) over $360 million bucks (since 1949) for research of curing blood cancers. Being a nurse, Ive seen how devasting it can be to watch many ppls hopes and dreams die as they or someone they love slowly pass from one or more this type of cancer. Being one of the few survivors of a blood cancer, I also know how it feels to know what the future holds. My life was spared therefore whenever a worthy charity I find comes along, I try to do my best to support them. With the growing knowledge in medical science, we ARE getting close to a cure. Until it is found, your friends, family, acquaintances, and neighbors are still dying from these types of cancers. If you would like further information on LTN please check out their website at www.lightthenight.org

You can become part of a team and walk on your own or u can donate funds.

I am current registered to participate in the 2 mile walk on September 27 in Longview, Texas. If you would like to help sponsor me for this fundraising event you can send donations to the address below or paypal it to me ([email protected]).

I just wanted to say thank you to whomever it was that donated the $200 via paypal. I didn't expect that much from anyone here but it is greatly appreciated by the LTN organization. I don't recognize your email nor did it give me your info so I'm assuming you want to remain nameless... but thank you!
