    Car Guys: Anyone know about SVT Contours?

    I might be getting one this fall... it would be a nice improvement over my Eagle Vision, which is just way bigger than I prefer to drive...

    I know they've got around 200hp, a manual tranny (YES! no more auto!), were only made for a few years, and have a few other SVT doodads, but I don't know much else.

    Anyone have any experience with em? I think the one I might be getting is a 97 or 98?

    any owners groups or other forums i might check to get more info?

    this is a car I could actually have some fun with I think...

      I just drove my buddies 2002 SVT!!! it's pretty tight ride!

      Has a real sleeper effect, ppl never know what they are getting into with that thing. suposedly he beat a 2003 stang GT while I can see it happening, I think in this case the Stang drive was a n00b

          They're pretty decent rides. The trannies are prone to failure though so shop wisely.

              Check out Car & Driver.

              They did a comparo with that included in it. Scored pretty well if I remember. They did say it was loud though.
