    Any nine inch nails fans?

Just thought I would start a thread about this. Anybody else love NIN? Quick story/factoid. My parents know all the members if nine inch nails, and my dad knew the guitarist from school...my mom also saved Trents dog from getting lost/run over.

Which reminds me...my mom also met tony hawk before he was uber famous, and skated with him for a while, then bought him a bday present.

NIN is really awesome. And for all the Quake fans out there, the music is made to be played to Quake.

YES YES YES...now somebody enlighten me on the quake thing. Someone told me NIN did the quake music, and now you are making a reference to it? Please let me know, and lighten my life.

I generally like to keep my nails fairly short... nine inches seems a little outragous to me.
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered
where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus,
and a clown killed my dad.

Put Pretty Hate Machine in the cd drive while playing Quake. It's awesome. Oh, and if you look at the nail gun ammo in Quake 1 it actually say NIN on it, with the backwards N.

im a huge nin fan. I have every album ever released by them, and a few singles they never released.

Ive seen them only once in concert, as its a rarity that they came around for one..

anyways, saw them and a perfect circle, by far the best concert I have been to.

I've always been a fan of NIN. My little brother loves em though.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

I've always like NIN, Pretty Hate Machine has to be by far one of their best albums. Never could get into any of the newer stuff that was released from the Fragile onward though, plus it seemed that Trent kind of turned into a whiner, especially after Maynard did "Perfect Enemy" live with a Perfect Circle a few years ago and Trent got all pissed since it was supposed to be saved for the Tapeworm project that never really got off the ground.

The fragile...one of my favorites, but the more I listen to the downward spiral, pretty hate machine, etc, the more I Realize I cant choose a favorite. The fragile onward? Please tell me I havent missed an album they have released since then???

I always equivilate his music to doing the same as drinking a red bull. it just moves you to get intense. Most of the lyrics are extremely well written. If you have not had a chance to hear and see Johnny Cash's cover of the song "hurt" you should download it. It is very well done and the lyrics are perfect match. One side note of the video is that there is a seen in which Cash's wife is over looking him playing the piano, she passed away just a few months after the video was finished. Just shows how great a band is when a legend like Cash does a cover.

...I'm from Cleveland, and so's Trent Reznor. Last I checked, he was the only official member, so who else do your parents know ?
