    Kinda depressed...

Well, for the last month or so I've been excercising for 1-2 hours a day, and cutting down on greasy/fattening food and sweets and yesterday I weighted myself and I still weight 300 pounds and I just feel horrible, like what was the point of wasting all that time for nothing. And I pretty much feel so low right now that I wish I was dead, I know it sounds stupid but I just hate myself. My parents don't want to listen to my complaining, so I came here. I'm not going to kill myself, I just had to say that I feel soo bad and I don't know what to do. I hate how people treat me like **** because I'm fat, and how no girl will ever like me the way I am, and how can they when I can't even stand to look at myself in the mirror. People keep saying its how you feel about yourself that shows through, and thats what people see, well, I don't know how I can ever feel good about myself the way I am.

I've got a few suggestions, though you'll probably dispute them.

Run every day as long as you can, run intil your knees give out. Also, try running up hill.

Quit smoking pot, assuming you do regularly.

Don't drink, avoid eating dairy and wheat.

    Eat much smaller portions.

If all else fails, try to gain some speed / agility if you don't already and play football, the ladies love the football players, even if you don't do so well with them in highschool, if you really stick with it they'll be all over you in college / pro (assuming you get that far.).

Otherwise try going to a doctor, athletic trainer, or just a regular gym trainer.

    Good luck man.

Well I run for about a minute before I start hyperventalating

I stopped smoking pot 3 months ago

Don't drink alcohol? If so, no worries about that.

and as for my diet, I don't eat much, I eat until I am satisfied, which isn't that much, I get satisfied from about a half a hamburger(not that i eat hamburgers often but just to let you know how much I eat)And I eat pretty much whatever my mom makes, if I dispute what shes going to make she yells at me and calls me perticular and unthankful And I've went to the doctor, they told sent me to a nutritionist and the first thing she said is all food is good food and then said don't eat too much. And I was going to goto the boxing gym but they closed down, and then I found another one and they were full because all the ones that were from the one that closed down went there. But I've been doing my own excercise rutien(sp?) most, involves lifting some moderatly sized(about 20 pounds) free weights, jogging(but I have that 1 minute time limit) pushups, sit ups, punching a small punching bag I have, and pretty much dancing around to music(not a pretty site to watch a 300 pound guy trying to dance)

Edit: Oh ya, mom won't let me join football...
You smell like dookie... No really though.

Take heart chief, it's not all bad. I'm a fairly large guy myself, but I'm married to a cute little girl that doesn't mind I'm not one of the back street boys. When I throw a headbutt at a bar people notice. Cold weather doesn't slow me down and I can outrun skinny athletic guys when it's snowing in the woods, because those little guys sink! Plus, I never have to sit in the back seat of any car. When I go to the movies if someone's being loud I sit in front of them. Make the most of what you've got, it takes the edge off.

But, just eat more often and smaller portions. Get your body used to it, it takes some time though. Once you've done it for a while you'll start seeing results. Also, don't eat for a few hours before going to bed, metabolism and all that.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

If you're serious about it run more, push yourself to atleast 5 minute twice a day, trust me, it's hard work, but it's worth it, even if you don't get incredibly thin you'll be able to play football assuming you convince your mom.

Another thing, though it's really none of my business, but maybe you should go to some counseling.

Its not that I don't want to run more, if I could breathe for more than a minute I would go longer, but after a minute it takes about 5 minutes to catch my breath. And how many 300 pound guys(not body builders) have you seen running for long periods of time? And I don't think counceling will help anything all thats gonna happen is they're gonna say I'm bi-polar or something and I then I'm gonna have that I'm not mentaly sound on my record forever, so no thanks on counceling.

Do you have asthma? If not running is hard because you're really out of shape, and 5 minutes isn't long, honestly, if you truly want to lose the weight you're going to have to run more.

If your having trouble running, theres more than one way to exercise. Try just walking, that does work, slower, but its better than jogging for 1 minute. Try riding a bike, some people prefer that over running.

Yes I have asthma, but this isn't the same kinda asthma I had when I was younger back then if I got tired I couldn't breath until I used an inhaler even like an hour later, now If I just stop excercising and sit for about 10 mins i can breath normal again, my asthma is mostly allergy activated.

Infinity, i weight 275, now i dont know how much muscle mass you have, but here is a picture of me

I can run for 8 minutes, that isnt long, but it isnt short either

i play lacrosse, i snowboard, and i play paintball, not to mention ice hockey, and wrestling.

I suggest that you just push your self. if you cant catch your breath, no biggie, keep going. practice your breathing.

                      SITUPS do them

PUSHUPS do them dont be ashamed if you can only do one, i can only do about 5, and i consider my self in moderate shape

IM still fat, il admit it, ive got manboobs, and thighs that could feed Calista flockhart for the rest of her life, hel my man boobs are prolly bigger than her regular boobs!

hell man, just take it slow and move it. JUST move it

dont worry about running, just walk if you need to, but walk really really far, then walk back. also, ride a bike

bike riding you will have to do more of, but it pumps your heart, without as much strain on your joints

Dont worry so much. Trust me it takes awhile to lose weight. If you stop now youll throw away all your hard work. I haven't had to deal with losing weight but i have had to deal with working out. You can get a membership at a gym for 13$ a month like i did this summer at the YMCA, maybe cheaper for you depending on your age. When youre there lift light wheights lots of times, pick a wieght you can do maybe 10-12 times and try to do that 3-4 times. This will burn fat and make your muscels "tone". Trust me just keep working at it, it will be hard but if you keep working it will pay off.

Also, i have friends who are overweight, i guess, and i dont even think of their wheight. One of my best friends is overwheight. He was even heavier last year and now he has lost weight by doing what your doing. I really admire what he has done and it shows how strong of character he has to keep working when it gets tough. Just keep the hard work up.

Well I'm not a complete blob, my arms and legs are pretty solid and I can do about 10(is there some kinda equasion that you can figure out how much you can bench by how much you weight and how many pushups you can do?) pushups, and im about equaly strong as my 38 year old dad who weighs around 200 pounds. I've been trying to do music/dance workouts, seems to get me to break a darn good sweat, gets me feeling nice and sore the next day in all areas of my body, and I don't get winded too easily. And like I said I plan on walking alot more once school starts(tommarow, kinda why I feel depressed). Thanks for the help.
