AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.

I love my new monitor, it only cost me $750. It's about 17 inches, thin, very good colors. It seemed a bit bright at first, but then I got used to it.

My brothers science teacher is looking to get rid of his ball python, he'd include ta 55gal tank, and all the necessitires, all id need are mice
8ft and 50 lbs i think
idk if my parents would go for that
But yeah, i think a ball would be to big for a starter...kings are nice, today my teacher told us to hold it because it was getting hungry and it does funny stuff when its hungry, so it wrapped around my arm and started squeesing my arm, my teacher had to pull it off

eh, I've fed bigger. What kind is it? African Rock? Post pics.
Oh yea,I dunno Chuck, it depends. I've seen some little Nile monitors go for like $1200 a pop for like hets. for albino.
I wouldn't mind having a large monitor, like a Water monitor. The only turn off is I rarely hear of them being nice. Hence why I will stick with Burms and Royals and things to fat and lazy to chase my dog.

pure bread dogs are outrageous to i mean to go buy a full bred dobermen puppy is like 700 bucks then you gotta get it shots and stuff..most snakes ppl want as pets are exotic so i would think 2 grand while not reasonable would be around the price range to be expected
For the most part, most normal phase species of snakes are relatively inexpensive, usually under $500 depending on how common they are. Balls and Corns and Kings and Milks are cheap, well, usually because there are so many people breeding them. Burms are cheap because they breed in massive numbers(clutches of eggs usually number in the 80s to 100s and usually have a very low mortality rate). Bloods are the same.
However, the big dollar bill signs appear when the genetics get more complicated. Sometimes, it takes a cross of 5 or 6 generations before a phase appears. Some of the newest colors, like Super Lemon spider phase balls are the culmination of almost 10 years of breeding and experiementing. This is why they are expensive. However, as time passes, and more snakes are bred, the prices will drop. For instance, when Albino Burms first hit the pop market, they went for more than $2000. Now they can go for as low as 150 for a resonsabley healthy baby.
But then again, some snakes are just expensive because they are hard to breed, or breed in small numbers...like Blackhead and Womas, Green Tree Pythons, Black Pythons, Scrubs, greens, Angolans, Rocks, etc
