Man I'm the biggest chicken

I was just sitting in my backroom watching TV, when out of the corner of my eye I see a huge as poo cockroach crawling my way. I freak out and take a stab at it with the remote but miss. It went under the sofa, and I freakin cleared that room like a bullet. I'm prolly not going to go back there till I see the thing dead or whatnot. I'm freaking scared of spiders, insects or just anything that crawls. Anybody else this way?

Are you my clone baby? I went to take a shower and a harmless little wolfspider was in the tub...FFSHHOOM! Im out of therre, skimp on the shower that night.

I think the reason I'm afraid of cockroaches so much is because of the story a few years back of some girl who died in her sleep when a cockroach crawled in her throat and suffocated her. And spiders, well they just look scary.

Isn't there a certain number of spiders that crawl into your mouth when your sleeping every year? That freaks me out really bad. Really scary cuz I HATE spiders. I've never even seen a cochroach in real life, and I hope to keep it that way

Thats pretty much a myth says my zoology teacher (I trust him because he knows a lot). He basicly just asked everyone in the room if they've ever woken up with a spider in your mouth, and everyone said no. Just ask a lot of people, and basicly all of them will say no. And it be very hard to prove because during the night you toss and turn so often that to have some sort of experiment be hard because not only the camera have to be on you, but someone have to be looking directly at your mouth through all your movements. Not to mention the spiders.

Once a long time ago I was in the tub and the back of my ear itched (living in texas). I scratch at it... it feels a little weird, but, not too bad. A few seconds laters I feel it again, scratch, realize somesthing

I scream (I was 8 or less) and FLY OUT OF THAT TUB LIKE A ROCKET STRAPPED TO MY BUTT at the same time, WHAPPING my head. Some reason I distinctly remember hitting my head really hard and the sound it made ... . It was terrifying. I turn around and frantically look, and see a HUGE black spider in the bathtub water, trying to get out. I was traumatized that the spider was ON ME and I was scratching at it. I didnt go back in that night ...

Cockroaches though, there is nothing scary about them! I mean they are just like beetles, and those arent scary. They are just nasty cause they carry all those germs

I'm the same way.

If I feel something on my leg or something, I can't convince myself to look down. so I just jump around until it stops. However, if I'm at a petstore, or whatever, I'll happily pick up a giant millipede or Madgascar hissing cockroach.

This is a funny thread!! I'm ok when it comes to insects just as long as I know they are there first! If they suddenly come crawling my way then I'm up running screaming away!

Another thing I cannot stand is wheen something is crawling around inside my shirt, I won't refrain from ripping off my shirt in a public place, like a museum...or nursing home..
