Rice Crispies, Cocoa Crispies, Cap'n Crunch, Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes, Wheaties, Cocoa Puffs, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, used to like Trix but now it just tastes funky...Mmmm, I grew up on cereal...LOL! How about for the old timers...the Cap'n Crunch wanna be Donkey Kong Cereal!

Ha Ha well it "might" have something to do with the way I have yet to find an american or canadian who can fry an egg properly either, but oats "should" be oats but it might have something to do to how you prepare (buy) them, a little like you can get different grades of flour. Plain oats with milk and if you want it to be tradditional then you add salt and I don't mean a pinch! Me, I add sugar or golden syrup or honey.

You can't just clump every American resipe together as one. We don't all make the same kind of Oatmeal. My mother makes her own oatmeal. Good oats, milk, brown sugar. It's good.

I understand what you mean as brownies your mom makes will be different from the ones you buy at whatever food hall, but moms recipes don't count the bowls of oatmeal you get in diners up and down the states and across canada are not like the type I can buy in a store here and make at home...again it would probably down to the grade of oats available to you over there.

Well Quaker Oats are ok but you get a heap of dust in the packet. Scotch Porridge Oats are the brand to get.

the best cereal ever is lucky charms. Make sure to take out all the actual cereal and just eat the marshmellows

Shoprite makes this awesome Cap'n Crunch knock off ceareal that is just so awesome. It has like 2x the taste of regular cap'n crunch and I love it !

It is a sausage but made with fat, cereal and Blood hence the name Black Pudding and it is really really tasty (sorry to any veggys) cut into slices and fried. They have contest in the north of my country to see who makes the best, same idea as "regular" sausage contest but only Black Pudding is entered.
