It's not my duty to entertain you, woman!

Why do certain girls have the urge to call you every 10 minutes and say, "Hey, what's up, I'm bored." FYI girlie girl, it's not my job to entertain you. I have stuff to do, places to go, people to meet (not really, but it makes a good point). I respond with, "Yeah, I'm bored too."

Then, I try to get a conversation going. "I have a soccer game today." She could say something like, "Who's on your team?', or 'Who are you guys playing?" But NO. All I get is a "cool". You're the one who called me, you should at least have the tiniest bit of a motive to RESPOND with an interesting answer, or start a new topic up. I swear that the knowledge level of humanity is going down.

After all of the agony, the next day at school I get this. "Why don't you ever call me anymore?". If only I could say the truth....BECAUSE YOU'RE DULL AND TALKING ON THE PHONE SUCKS. By the way, these people are not my girlfriends, although they constantly hint that they want me to "ask them out", only for me to get shotdown.

Another thing. I'm 13, turning 14 in a week I think. I'm in the 8th grade. I think that the whole idea of "going out" at this age is stupid. I think that I'm still a kid. But it seems that every girl that I have gone out with is the same. Always wanting to talk on the phone, bugging you when you finally get time with your friends, and not letting you be free for 5 seconds to finish your homework or go to a practice or anything. I do have quite alot of stuff to do, as I'm involved with lots of stuff. Soccer, drums, scouts, and school of course. I'll start to consider dating when I'm in highschool. Right now, it seems pointless and a waste of my time. Does anyone agree that "dating" at this age is stupid?

On a side note...I swear that I will beat the first person that says "lol" to me in person. (I think I'm just pissed off because I have to park for the fair all week from the end of school till 10:00, leaving me with no time.)

Get used to it, most girls are like that.

I have no idea why girls do that. But I'm one of them! I call my boyfriend everyday when I get home from work. MOST of the time, I have stuff to say, but sometimes I just wanna hear his voice (no entertaining on his part required) and I really don't say much which gets on his nerves because he's busy. But I still do it because I know he wuv's me and he'll tolerate it.

Am I the only one who can't stand talking on the phone and avoids girlfriends because of it?

Nope, phone conversations with girls are probably one of the most pointless things you can do.

Second: love it while it lasts. Soon you'll be in high school, chicks dig older guys, then you'll be in college, chicks dig older guys, then you'll be an older guy, chicks dig younger guys...
