alright i had a friend over tonight well before she left to go home we hugged i said bye then she said bye. alright nothing out of the ordinary right?

well right as she walked out the door my mom was like " what was that you NEVER (( oh she emphasised never )) say bye first "

um i was speechless of course cuase i didnt know that was a "rule"

anyways is my mom right? do girls even notice or care if i say bye first or second? if this is true i would just like to say not im sorry to all the ladies that i said bye to first....... anways i need a few answers

I wouldn't ask me for advice. If I knew anything about anything, I wouldn't be single.

As far as your question goes... what does it matter? You're supposed to let a girl order first, unless you are both from a culture where the male customarily orders for everyone. You open doors for her, and various acts of chivalry... but I don't see what difference it makes in who says bye first.

I would rather say bye first, and this is why:

I would hold her, lightly run my finger across her hair, cradle her head, kiss her forehead, and looking directly into her eyes I'd tell her goodbye with a sad smile. Then it would be her turn to respond with her goodbye, and I could see how she felt about me by how she would react.

You can discover things about a person by how they respond to these kinds of things. Sometimes the response you get is that they really don't care about you like they say they do.

It's not that big a deal... The only time when a guy leaves and says bye first and it makes me mad is when we are in a disagreement (fight) and haven't resolved it yet. Never leave in the middle of a fight, always try to work things out. It will show her you care about how she feels on the situation.
