    Car stereo trouble help me!

I just bought a pioneer deh p6400 from a friend, but I got the wrong thing. Like the cord that goes into the back of the cd player, doesnt fit. Does anyone know where I can get one, I checked all of the local stores, does anybody have one they will sell me? Or know what I should do?

you cannot buy the wireharness locally if its the one that actually hooks to the unit itself. you will have to go through pioneer.

are you talking about the harness that plugs directly into the head unit, or the harness that is supposed to adapt to your vechicle?

if its the one for the head unit, you will have to contact poineer and order a new one. If its for the car's harness, you should be able to go to circuit city or best buy and tell them your year, make and model car, and they should be able to sell you the correct harness.

call these guys. I worked with car stereo installation for a while and still do it for all my buddies. These can get about any parts for any stereo including the metall sleeve that the unit locks into and the plastic trim around it, as well as wire harnesses.
