I dare say, my good man, dreadfully fascinating, this keystroke counting business. I should let it be known that as of the writing of this electronic communique, I shall be typing, as the proletariat say "fancy" in a concerted effort to bolster AO's rating.

Thank you, Bob of the Sponge!!

**edit** hmm, after playing with it a little bit, I think I've got it working... now how I do I find the option to make it manual updating?

**edit #2** never mind, I found it. Yay!! It's like... getting points for typing!! lol, definitely time for bed...

**edit #3** haha why is my "contribution" lower than my "total keys"? What's the difference?

          BTC out.

How do you see how many keystrokes you've actually taken since you joined?

edit- Ah I got it now...
Originally the project was for a college student but it got so much attention and became so popular on the net, he couldn't afford to pay the bills.

That is why he posted the source code and said the first person who wanted to pick up the project would be the new owner. Some guy from Netherland picked it up and the rest is history.

The contribution column is how many keys you have pushed while you have been in the current team.

The Total Keys are how many you have typed!!!

Your total keys may be higher than your contributing keys because it took you some keystrokes just to join the group, get to the webpage and a ton of other stuff you could possibly do!

I'm not doing as well as I thought. What are they going to do with my passwords, come post on AO? I don't use a credit card or anything important online.
