    Need Some Help.... Quickly!!!!

when i try 2 pictures i took on my digi cam, they dont work because they say that the jpeg format is not supported (for some reason my camera started taken pics with jpegs instead of bitmaps)

I dont understand what happened because it was working the other night...

I think changing the file extensions might work, but, i dont know how to go about doing that... so if someone could help, that would be GREATLY appreciated.

go into the image, click save as, and save it as a .bmp instead of .jpg, and youll have a copy in .bmp form. i think..

your camera does not take pictures in jpeg format. the jpeg format takes the decompressed picture which you have just shot, and compresses it as well as store's it as
        24-bit-per-pixel color data.

you need to find a way to convert your images to a .bmp or .gif. Try something like this: convertor

I tried that program and when i tried to convert it, it said that it was a non-compliant JPEG, and it is taking them as jpegs for some reason, that is the file extension it has on it...

open your pictures with an image viewer convert it there
open an image in paint...convert it there
you really need a photo edit software to do it
