Is anyone getting the gamecube? I've heard that it's gameplay is better than PS2 while the graphics are much better also. The only downside is no dvd player but that is made up for by the lower price...I'm gonna have to say im goin for the gamecube.

The game cube games are fun but they're not my game style. It is more targeted to certain audiences. I'm not in that spectrum...

Understand this: I do not want a GameCube. Unfortunatley Nintendo and Capcom are the product of Lucifer and I need that godforsaken system to play the Resident Evil series... So I gotta buy that cheap little box in addition to the mighty PS2.Comment

Well, some of the kiddy games are fun... games like supersmash bros melee are actually pretty good. I also like how non interactive and braindead easy the games are...... ps2 may be inferrior when it comes to hardware but when it comes to holding up the playstation repuation it has passed with flying colors. PS2 has some of the best games out there. Those konami benami games are hella sweet(dance dance revolution, guitar freaks, beatmania), then there's hideo kojima's metal gear solid games, and there's the gran turimo series.

I have to say that I am not getting either the game cube or the xbox. I bought the Dreamcast last year and I still think it is awsome. I know they are not making it anymore abd sega has gotten out of the business but I have always gotten the sega systems and nothing else. The only game that I really like out side of sega is Bond on the N64. That game is the all time greatest game ever made.

It will, there is a Modem and a Broadband adapter in the works. I already have a GameCube, had it since launch day. Can't wait until next Monday to play some SSBM. Played it at the GameCube Club (Nintendo's Road Tour) and it's worth the price of a GameCube and four controllers just to have it!

Someone in my hall has a gamecube, it's ok. No noticable differences in the graphics from the PS2. I hate smash brothers. I don't really want a gamecube that much. I havn't played halo, but my friend has and he says it rules. He says it's better than red faction. He compared it to half life. I'm just gonna stick with my PS2 and have a ton of games.Comment
