    UGH! Cup-O-Noodles bites!

Okay, here's the deal...having to eat out to lunch every day at work can be a bit expensive. You spend about $5-$8 going out for lunch. Doesn't sound too expensive but after a while, it adds up. I could use that money on other things like...PAINTBALL!!

Now, I'm fortunate to work for a company that provides some stuff to eat, free sodas, candy, chips, and sometimes fruits. For instance, this Cup-o-noodles I'm currently having...YUK!! I know you can't complain if it's free but man does this stuff taste bad! Heck, there's hardly any kind of flavor!

I can try eating the other stuff but for the most part, it's very unhealthy for someone who sits in front of a computer all day long.

For those of you who does eat lunch on a budget, what do you recommend that's decent and doesn't get old quickly? I've had peanut butter sandwiches, frozen burritos, frozen pizzas...I want something creative and cheap! All I know is I'm tired of this stuff...LOL!!

yeah, cup-o-noodles does indeed bite. it seems that it has no flavor, but a lot of nasty smell.

anywho, as for cheap meals, im a big peanut butter man myself. one of my fave things to do is peanut butter and banana sandwiched. its like an orgasm in my mouth.

Man, I can't believe you said that with this group...

Back on the subject, if you have a Costco near by, you can get a polish dog and a coke for $1.50. Thats a good deal, and pretty tasty.

So Blennidae tells me he's had your polish dog and coke for $1.50. But seeing how you offered, I think I'll do what joey d suggested and pass.

                  Hrm...so much for lunch! LOL!!

Ever add a raw egg to that(after it's cooked)? Stir it up a bit and you take your Ramen to a new level!

For weeks on end, I'll survive soley on Cup a noodles with chunks of chicken added for texture and more flavor. If you have a problem with lack of flavor, get a bullion cube and add half of it to the BIG cup.

Ramen noodles are good too. I always eat them.

Just remember, there is a cost! For instance, I will be working 8:00am to 9:30pm Wednesday. I am teaching a class Wednesday evening at Rutgers-Camden. How to write a business plan and obtain business financing.

I am exempt, so no overtime.

Oh well, tommorrow I am having Gnocchi at Guimerellas in Haddonfield!

Don't knock Cup-O-Noodles man. It alone provides nutrition for countless college students, pot heads, and po' folks.

That said, the best mobile and cost effective lunch is a good ole fashioned sandwhich and a cup of yogurt.
