GTA 3 and Vice Citry PC problems

My buddy had GTA 3 and Vice City on his computer harddrive, so I asked him if I could copy it. So I did, and now they are on my hard drive also. But when I try to open GTA 3, an error comes up that says "WIN_VDM missing."

And when I try to open Vice City it tells me that it can't find enough video memory, but I probably can't fix that, can I?

Well, that's sorta what you get for pirating a game, you know.

What probably happened is that the registry entries didn't make it over, making the game unplayable.

go ask at this site http://www.gtaforums.com. But they might not be very happy about you pirating the game, seeing as it's a R* owned sight, but you can always try.
Just try to downplay that you don't own the game and just tell them what happens when you try to load the game.
