PEPSI! And I agree with SHartley, I can forgive them for using Bratney Spears. Why not use someone good for a spokesperson? Someone not related to the annoying world of pop music(oh I get it, getting a pop star to sell pop!). Or maybe someone not a whore? But Mountain Dew still rules in my book! And they have those people who jump out of plains and stuff for their adds! lol.

    ENDO!

LOL I did not mean to start a "Britney Spears" thing...

I am sure she is a WONDERFUL person. I am sure she is NOTHING like what her songs, videos, and advertisements make her look like she is. I hear all the time what a wholesome young girl she is, and what fine upstanding morals she posesses. And I will not even argue that point, but will take them at their word.

However, may I ask one question?

If you show up at someone's house wearing a Police Officer's Uniform, everything that comes out of your mouth is what a Police Officer would say, all your actions are those of a Police Officer... BUT you were NOT a Police Officer.... Would you blame the person who opened the door for mistaking you for one?

So, I will openly apologize for mistaking Ms. Spears for a anything other than what she truly is... I was (and many others are) confused by her uniform and actions.

That's a hard one to follow

Anyway, back to the original subject, I believe that Pepsi is way better than Coca Cola.

But I also agree that SOBE's rule the beverage empire.

I must first apologize in advance. I'm feeling quite nitpicky today.

It would be Miss Spears... not Ms. "Miss" means that the young lady has never been married. Miss Spears is engaged, not married hence her name has not, by law, changed. "Ms." is a lady who was married but is no longer.

Other than that; you made an excellent point. You are the voice of reason (This time anyway )

Edit: Oh yea! Coke I don't care much for that whor..err...young lady either.

                    What? LOL

It would be Miss Spears... not Ms. "Miss" means that the young lady has never been married. Miss Spears is engaged, not married hence her name has not, by law, changed. "Ms." is a lady who was married but is no longer.
Well, actually, might I be so forward as to point out...

                    Mrs. = Married
Miss. = Either never has been, or is not currently Married (and sometimes even when they ARE). It is most often used by younger women, but is not exclusive to them. I know plenty of older woman who use Miss, but most prefer Ms. And also it is used by Married women maintaining their Maiden names while still being married for professional reasons.
Ms. = EITHER Married or not. It is Relationship neutral.

The Oxford Dictionary defines Ms. as follows:
                    n. form of address for a woman, used regardless of marital status. [combination of Mrs., Miss]

You see, Ms. was developed to be the Marriage neutral form to compliment the Mr. used by Men. It was developed so that women could be addressed with respect regardless of their marital status and on the grounds of them being equals to men, not tied to or depending upon their "affiliation" with them. It is not an indication of a Divorced yet still single Woman.

It is also used by young women who want an air of respect associated with their names, but have not reached an age where by reaching that age Miss. would not be an indication of youth, but of Marital status alone.

By using Ms. with a young woman's name, the person using it is bestowing a bit more respect (even if sarcastically) to the young woman it is used with. It would be like calling a 12 year old boy Mr. Smith. The title can be sincere, or used sarcastically, but does not indicate Marital status.

I hope this clears up any confusion. I would hate to have you think that every time you see Ms. in a woman's name that she was Divorced.... since it has nothing to do with it at all.

Oh the things we learn on AO.. and some folks thought it was just about Paintball.

Other than that; you made an excellent point. You are the voice of reason (This time anyway )
LOL Thank you... I was just making an observation. Everyone has to make their own decisions on that matter.

(This post is made in good spirit. And ThePatriot I did not see your deleted post, but can imagine it had to do with your coming to the aid of Britney Spears' honor, and against any who may say something bad about her? But if I may point out, you said this in one of your earlier posts:
Pepsi has britney spears on their commercials....pepsi...hmmm, britney spears...even mroe hmmmm...tasty
This surely sounds like someone who thinks of her in a truly noble and non-sexual manner, doesn't it? I know when I see a nice looking car, I always say it is tasty. Lighten up, she is a public figure [no pun intended] who makes money directly from the fact that she sells SEX, or the image of it. And I am sure neither Coke of Pepsi will go out of business because of this thread. And Britney is "hurt" all the way to the bank. )

That is terrible. You should change your title from "The Enforcer" to "AO's worst punster"

Don't put too many lights on the tree. Otherwise the powerplant will have to use the auxillary nuclear. Also, if your very elderly aunt brings along a cat, don't let it near the tree. Christmas Vacation is a very funny movie. Umm... I like pepsi more and that is at school, but I am sort of going over to the Coke side because that is all we have at home. But, I like Mountain Dew Code Red FAR more than any of those.
