What I think it was is that each of the Elder's have different traits. Victor was the strongest of the vampires, so maybe she was the smartest, or the most deceptive, or the best looking in a thong. Something like that.

I said it when I saw Kate Beckinsale in "Pearl Harbor" and I'll say it again:

"Wow! That girl is hotter than Georgia tarmac!!" I liked the movie for the most part. Parts of it were slow and unrealized, but overall it was eye-ite. Seeing lovely Kate run around in black leather and unload clip after clip into people is worth the admission price however.

Woah don't you guys wish you couldve been that michael corbin guy? first he gives her mouth to mouth and saves her from drowning (while kate beckinsale had a wet shirt on, very sexy) also the skin tight leather that she wore Woot Woot that was just sizzling, heh i cant wait until the sequel if there is one, they shouldve had a love scene with the half vamp half werewolf and kate bekinsale I loved the movie, the special effects fit the mood of the movie and didnt ruin it. (ie. Starwars episode 1 just sucked)

Oh joy, another of the reasons on why I hate my duty station. We will not get this one on base here for about 2 more months, around the same time I am due to leave this hell hole. which means we will get it here after I leave and it will no longer be playing in the states when I get there. I guess DVD is gonna be the way i get to see it and I was soo looking forward to it

Yeah I had that same problem back when I was stationed at Kunsan, AB, South Korea. unfortunatly you dont have the benifits of an insanly popular kazaa to find bootleged cops of the flic, as we did.

Although its rumored that White Wolf is sueing over this flic... its very loosley based on their story. Although Blade was closer to the whole multi clan aspect.

Personally I find this story far closer to the "Chasity" comic book put out by the now out of business Chaos Comics.

All in all its a decent vamp flic, although I would of made a couple of changes... I still enjoyed it.

I don't play Werewolf much, I do play Vampire however, but the Elder Werewolf had Fortitude up the "you know what", healing up the silver bullet shots, ala Wolverine in X-Men 2. And the Elder Vampire had Potence up the "you know what", one punch, ONE PUNCH, and practically destroyed a fully transformed werewolf. Those were the main disciplines that I could see coming through in the movie. That, and it was a 'Mascarade' like what the modern days Vampire is about.

You NEED to see it. I thought I didn't want to see it but it was pretty good. While you and I always disagree on politics I'm pretty sure that you and I can agree that Kate looks darn good in that leather outfit.

You won't be disappointed in that regard. Trust me on that one! Actually even my wife liked it but I'm assuming for different reasons.

Joke is that there is a horror movie fest/convention in Cherry Hill, NJ this weekend. My In-laws and wife are going to it. Maybe we can make this movie the coupe de grace of the evening?

2nd thing, was i couldnt figure out who was who at times, like i had no idea who were the vampires and who werent, only way i knew was when i saw a certain person, just kinda weird


it was worth the 6 bucks i paid to see it, so i dont have any real complaints
