99.999% of the vamps looked like art ***s.

and

100% of the Lycans looked like sweaty grunge rockers.


BTW the huge Lycan with the voice like a deathmetal wet dream AKA "Raze" was played by Kevin Grevioux. He was a co-writer of this movie and get this... for a day job he is a Genetic Engineer. weird!

i could tell most of the time, but like in the sewers or whatever at the end, and a couple other times, i couldnt really tell.

Went and saw Underworld yesterday. Overall I liked it. I think like others that severalof the fight scenes were too dark and seemed to jump somewhat about. Hopefully they will have a bigger budget next go around and can make some improvements.

My friend I went to see it with agreed that the guy with the whips may have looked cool as hell, but he made a very poor choice in weapons :)

Have to agree with everyone else that Selene did look hot in the leather and would have loved to see that party dress on her :P

I don't play Werewolf much, I do play Vampire however, but the Elder Werewolf had Fortitude up the "you know what", healing up the silver bullet shots, ala Wolverine in X-Men 2. And the Elder Vampire had Potence up the "you know what", one punch, ONE PUNCH, and practically destroyed a fully transformed werewolf. Those were the main disciplines that I could see coming through in the movie. That, and it was a 'Mascarade' like what the modern days Vampire is about.

Well, going on the whole White Wolf, these vamps must have been a really high generation. Without there guns, they seemed like weaklings.

The scene that I liked was when the vamp and wolf were almost face to face, hissing and growling, and then, the wolf just romps on the vamp with the vamp not putting up much of anything. That ruined that cool scene for me.

Kraven was the vampire in charge of the coven while Victor was in stasis. Lucian was the elder lycan.

BTW, does anyone else wonder why the elder vampires would go into stasis (they're supposed to be immortal)? Maybe there's issues that come up if they don't?

actually it appears that craven (although ancient in his own rite) is several generations lower than the 3 eldest (Victor, Maximus, and the drained Aemelia)

I hope that they put out a superb sequel and tie all this together... oh and that whitewolf gets of their high horse about this as well

According to the White Wolf mythos, the elder vampires of low generations are usually in a state of Torpor (stasis-like). It seems that their blood is so potent, they cannot remain awake for long periods of time. Also, they are so powerful that even in Torpor, they can use their powers.

OMG OMG OMG!!!!

Wow! It was great! She is hot and the movie even had a plot. THe plot twist was awesome.

You guys never told me the Vampires were the bad guys!!
