jwren00: in answer to your question. I dont think there is any prize offered for first place. its more or less a social experiment.

pulsing, is when you send your keystroke count to the server.

contrary to popular belief, this does not log your keystrokes, it only counts them. so, you can join the rest of us now, rather than being paranoid.

Its not a hassle at all except for setting it up. Otherwise you never touch it again! It even automatically pulses for you(and you get to see a cool flashing thing in your tray everytime you press a key:)) Just set it to start everytime you boot and type away
