My Car got broken into

I'm so pissed... my car just got broken into last night and we just found out like an hour ago. It's my first car and they stole all my cd's, broke my CD player (the idiot broke in not even knowing how to get the cd player out), and in the process of breaking in, he scaratched the hell out of my car door and busted out the door lock. Now I get to buy a new CD player, new CD's, and get my car door fixed. It's gunna takke me a while too seeing that I'm 16 and don't have a job yet...

Anybody have any thoughts on this situation?

BTW my car is a Black 98 Chevy Cavalier RS if you guys were wondering.

Theft insurance? People threw rocks through my sisters windows and she got new leather, 4 brand new panasonic speakers becuase glass got in the ones that were in there(work fine) and all new windows with tint for the $250 deductible.

no ive just got minimum coverage... it only covers accidents... i get to pay for all this **** myself

i can try and help out with some of the CDs you have. I have quite the extensive CD collection. If you can get me a list of some of the CDs you did have, maybe I could burn them for you and send them to you.

Joey D, thanks but most of the CD's thats werent burnt, were Christian CD's like Third Day and Switchfoot... the rest were burnt ones I put together of like ACDC and Black Sabbath and Dave Matthews...

Yeah, thefts suck. I leave my car in a parking garage in town for several days a week without going to check on it. I prevent breakins by taking everything out of the car, and leaving all the compartments wide open so people can see there is obviously nothing in my car. Noone takes my stereo because its a very high-tech stock 1991 tape deck As far as the car itself unless they are going to go under the hood, figure out what is missing and happen to have a spare one on them they arn't getting it. It aslo doesn't hurt that I always park right next to the nicer camaro that doesn't have any security system

Well it won't go on your car insurance. If you have homeowners or renter's insurance that's what it would go under (the stolen goods anyway). Give me a list of the CD's man, one of my sisters best friends is a record rep. MIGHT be able to hook you up.

Thats what I am worried about, someone breaking into my car when I get one. My friend just got a brand new BMW 325i, has the thing pimped out, 20's and a brand new system in his car. My area has had recent car break in's, people stealing the cd player, speakers, anything else in the car. So when I get my car(Jetta or BMW 325i) I hopefully could park it in my garage, but I dont think I will be able to. Sorry that you had your stuff stolen, hopefully the insurance company pays for some of it.

I'll tell you what. I've parked my trucks in some really bad neighborhoods and it never gets touched. I Have a Lo Jac sticking and a NRA sticker on it and I think people get the idea.

Just get the bumper sticker that says "Fight crime shoot back". My dad has them on all his cars and our dirtbike trailer. It works.
