knife research questions

im trying to find out more about i old knife ive had for awhile all i know is whats on the blade. R.J. Richter, Solingen, Germany in guessing 1940's, 1950's could be earlier. does anyone know a webpage that may list preferably with pictures old knives.

i cant get a picture of mine since im having some coputer problems.

Is it an automatic knife? There's a John richter that made custom knives.

its a sheath knife.
