    please help, how do you get an image in your sig?

    I have been trying and trying for an hour and a half, and nothing. I have tried just about everything, and I'm frustrated. I have an angelfire account that I loaded the image onto, tried to link it, connect it, what not. Nothing. Please help!

    Thanks,

    -Dave

    Sorry about the late reply, Dave.

    Angelfire is notorious for not downloading onto a page, so it is likely NOT you.

    To get a pic to post, you have two options here at AO:
    1) The pic must already be on the web, with it's own "www" address. Simply copy the address, click on the IMG button on the AO reply/post page, and paste the addy on that. It will automatically add the "image" tags for you.

    2) If the pic you want is in YOUR browser files (My Pictures, or My documents files), you can go to the bottom of the reply/post page and click on the "Browse..." button. This will let you bring up the file with the pic in it, then all you need to do is left click to highlight and hit "Submit Reply". AO will automatically make it an attachment in your post, like this;

        I just don't know how to get it under my sig.

        I don't see a Image selector in the signature part of the options. I tried pasting all kinds of stuff, all the little brackets and stuff around the links, but still worn't work. Oh well, maybe I'll figure it out some time. Thank you for responding to the post!

          This has actually been discussed a few times.... I know there were a couple really good threads on it. But I could only locate one of them for you. (I am only on my first cup of coffee... LOL )

          Our off topic forum. (You mean there are things other than paintball??) Please keep your posts civil, and refrain from topics that are likely to start problems. (NOTE: Any thread may be closed for any reason.)

          Hope this helps.
