Has this ever happened to you?

Your coming back from the Paintball store with your new Retro Valve and Superbolt( oh yeah!) and you turn a corner to get onto a street that is alongside a gas station so you can fill up, then one of the wheels of the vehicle freakin slips off?

Well, thats what happened to me today! lol! I thought I hit some huge pot hole...but the pot hole didn't end! The front end just stayed down! I quickly pulled off to the side, and took a look, and after the initial relief that the wheel didn't totally fly off, I saw the the ball joint had come undone. Really weird!

After we got help, the truck looked really bad when they tried to put it on a flatbed..the wheel got all twisted up and looked like it could almost lay flat.

I am thankful to God that I wasn't flyin' down the road at 60 when it came off, just merely turning a corner at 15 mph...I heard that the vehicle could have flipped if the circumstances were different. oh well, that was my day, how was yours?

      Where was that?

I live in Northern VA also. I go to the Pevs in Fairfax. Tell me where it is. I drive the worst piece of junk in the world. If I hit this thing then my transmission will probably fall out.

It was turning onto the street right before the big Sheetz station on US 50 coming from PEVS heading towards gilberts corner. It was no pothole, just the wheel coming undone

As we were driving down to florida when we moved, it was the first day and my mom was very tired and she was the only one who could drive the car, my dad had to stay in NY for a bit. Well we are going along im tryin to get to sleep and the car starts verging right, it doesnt stop, and suddenly we smash into the guard rail going 75 mphs. The front hubcab popped off and some minor scratches to the door, i couldnt believe it, my mom says she got stuck in the crosswind of a truck or something...but she fell asleep and i know it, im very thankful that we didnt flip or go into a ditch going 75 mph..

I thank God my dad didn't crash this one day.

He was driving home from work (he works in this BIG box truck) and his brakes went out.
And 98% of his driving takes place on the highway.

I think I beat all of you with this story

I was coming home from school and I just turned up my road then I heard the loudest snap/bang that I have ever heard in my entire life. The mounting screws for my engine snapped in half. The engine drop a few inches and then there was a loud smack sound of the engine hitting the stuff below it. It was a good thing that I was only a few hundered feet from my house otherwise I would have not made it home. I brought it to the dealer ship (I drive a jeep if you want to know) and they said that they had never seen something like that before. I was steaming mad and let me just say that it cost an arm and a leg to repair.
