Back in the day I used to run a Blockbuster in East Orange, and I requested a permit, which several letters of reccomendation from Police and FBI friends and a gentle nudging froma state attorney and my 1 star general father, to get me a permit so I could defend the $5,000 I carried to the bank every morning (and my life obviously).

That was some time ago, but i kept the permit.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

Carry permits do expire, but as long as there is not a reason to renew it then it's a lot easier to keep it than it is to get it.

Which I did find out, in PA it is legal to carry non-concealed. I thought this was pretty wild and in my mind a smart move. Though I have not seen anyone carrying.

Yeah, i have to renew it on occasion, but mostly that just consists of sending them a check and telling them you havne't committed any felonies.
