dude..that's an incredibly fast computer, there's really no reason at all to over clock it. Plus I don't even know if you can OC pentiums anymore, but for reference check out www.tweaktown.com

Don't even bother, whatever performance gains you get, will not even be noticable.
Sadly the mag is gone, moved on to an LCD Trix

There's no reason to OC that. The good ole days of significant performance gains from OC have gone and went.

If you have to ask how to overclock, you should not be doing it.

Ask someone who knows what they are talking about, because these guys sure don't.

The extra wear you get on your gear is not worth the gain you will get by overclocking. You don't want to make a $200 peice of toast now do you?

If you really want to go faster get a Ultra360 Raid controller and a couple of nice fast ultra 360 disks.... Right now your bottle neck is not your processing speed....

sorry but comparing $200 to the price of U360 isn't helping much either. And you would want at least three HD's so you can Raid them proper...

Difference is that I get performance and RELIABILITY out of my reconmondation. If you actualy work with computers you would know that the cost of good hardware is dirt cheap in comparison to the cost of having to deal with broken equipment and more importantly having to loose cash due to failed gear. Why do you think network engeneers brag about having 4 or 5 nines? Even in todays economy if you can say (And prove) your site runs at 5 nines you can get more 6 figure salery offers than you can shake a stick at.... hmmm wonder why.

If you want really performance you have to pay for it.. thats the way it always has been and always will be. Again my point still stands that overclocking that box isnt going to get you a noticable performance gain. PCs of that type are currently bottlenecked in too many other areas.

3 drives for a "proper" array huh? Interesting.

What, you don't have this? Come on now, get on the RAID 5 bandwagon!
