Can anyone tell me how to make it so you can't check email through it? I'm under the impression my dad has been using it to check my mail.

When your in msn.... go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy(tab at the top) -> And then there should be a box you can check next to "Always ask me for my password when checking hotmail....".
My dad did that to me a few years ago, and just started yelling at me one day for the junk-mail porn that people send you. He had taken all of it and put it into one folder, so I didnt even know that I was getting it

Or just uncheck the remember password thing. So he cant sign onto your msn at all.
