Sweet! I have a greenwinged macaw, named Manu. My family bought her when she was in the egg, and she's almost 10 years old now. She's louder than hell but sweet.
Make sure you take the bird outside often, they love it out there. if you could build an outdoor aviary that would be good. also, give him baths often, it will keep his feathers really nice. Good luck

THis is our second bird so we kinda know what we are doing, thanks for the advice though. Our capt Morgan bottle isn't empty yet... can't have a drunk bird.
He's currently learning shiver me timbers, yarr, he knows arggg, and Captain Morgan, and Ahoy/Ahoy Matey.
