    The Specialists...

I was thinking about this since I watch a lot of movies. If you were in charge of assembling a crack unit of specially trained individuals for one mission, which characters out of any action movies would you choose to comprise that team and why?

Let's say the mission is this: an American embassy in an Eastern European nation is raided by religious extremists. They execute the ambassador's family, and kidnap not only the ambassador, but several of his staff and immediately demand existing trade sanctions with their country be lifted.

You get to assemble a unit of five individuals and yourself. Who are the five?

Here's mine: (keep in mind anybody from any action movie is eligible).

    1. Me

    2. Micheal Beihn - from any movie in which he plays a SEAL. Take your pick, he's been one in like six movies so he's got to know something about the job. Plus, he was Johnny Ringo in "Tombstone".

    3. Bruce Willis - as John McClaine in the "Die Hard" films. No one's better at taking a beating but always coming out on top. Plus, if we have to infiltrate a building being held by these terrorists, he's got experience.

    4. Arnold Shwarzenegger - as Dutch from "Predator". The guy beats an alien at it's own game, survives a nuclear blast in the jungle, and makes primitive weapons out of a Bowie knife and some left over grenades. Yep, he can be on the team no doubt.

    5. Mel Gibson - as Martin Riggs in "Leathal Weapon". The wild card, plus his character was ex-special forces from Nam and a good sniper.

    6. Vin Diesel - as Shawn Vetter in "A Man Apart". He'd be a little on edge, but this guy killed the man who killed his woman by beating him to death with his own hands. That makes the cut right there.

Honerable mention: Samuel L. Jackson as Jules Winfield from "Pulp Fiction"...just to have him as our negotiator. Hey, he's got a wallet that says "Bad MF'er" on it.

Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

How about for books guys? Anyone ever read rainbow six or Halo: The Fall of Reach? I would take anyone from rainbow, especially chavez and I would take any spartan with or without the armor for those of you who have read those two.
